Club
Welcome to the Berlin Debating Union. We are a student debating club at Berlin’s universities, open to anyone interested in exchanging ideas. Our members meet weekly for club night and regularly attend national and international tournaments. Anyone interested is welcome to drop by on Tuesday evening, at any time and without registering.

How the evening works
Draw your position
The position you defend is assigned randomly, regardless of your personal opinion.
Prepare for 15 minutes
Work with your team to find arguments and arrange them in a persuasive order.
Debate &
feedback
Everyone gives a speech. After the debate, the judges explain their decision and give each speaker constructive, personal feedback.
